The Trail Haven Tarp is your standard 3 season hammock tarp. Its hexagon shape allows you to cut weight with minimal coverage sacrifice.

If you choose a U-Pick color(which only applies to the solid colors and not any specialty printed fabrics), these are ordered as needed from either Dutchware(Xenon Sil lines) or Ripstopbytheroll (Silpoly lines), so please verify colors and availability at their respective sites.

Patch Kit - Perfect for emergency repairs or there is even enough caulk that it can be used to reseal the seams if that ever needs to be done in the future. Includes small tube of silicone caulk, 12" x 12" matching fabric (custom tarps may not have quite a large piece, but will include what is available), stir stick (caulk can either be applied directly to tarp without diluting, or it can be diluted for thinner applications).
The optional Tarp Pole Set is for creating more livable space underneath the tarp. There are 2 versions - Exterior or Interior. The Exterior comes with 2 tarp poles, 4 Adjustable Quick Set Connectors (It does require the side panel pull outs from the drop down menu to function). The Interior includes sleeves add to the tarp and an internal ridgeline with prusiks to keep poles in place.

Perfect Lightweight Hammock Tarp

Jared is amazing - very responsive, answered all my emails & really helped me make the right choices & the tarp (blue color with internal ridge line + Stingerz, skin stuff sack & reflective cord) arrived very quickly. The rain & floods in Northern Vermont have not been cooperative for hiking; but I finally got out on the Long Trail with my tarp/hammock set up & am happy to report that it functioned perfectly - keeping heavy rain off me. I got the internal ridge line as a whim; but I have to say, it is very important. I hang my wet socks, etc on it & they are mostly dry in the morning....better than hanging them on the hammock ridge line. I'm also really glad I got the skin stuff sack. It makes setting up & taking down so easy. I highly recommend this tarp & Simply Light Designs. I will definitely purchase more as I extend hammock thru hiking into the winter. Thank you, Jared & Simply Light for your high quality, well made & designed tarp.

Great Rain Tarp!

I purchased the 12' long 112" wide tarp in 1.1 oz Xenon Sil material with cat cuts, 1.75mm zing it for the ridgelines (12.5' on each end), Lawson Glowire guylines (6.25' each), and UL titanium stakes. The entire setup, including the stuff sack, weighs 15 ounces.

Xenon Sil is a great material for rain tarps. It packs very well and is surprisingly quiet in the breeze-- it does not make a lot of slapping noise in the wind like some tarp materials. Lawson Glowire is really good stuff for the guylines. It grips itself well, making it ideal for tensioning knots, like a trucker's hitch or a slippery half hitch. The UL titanium stakes are slim shepard's hooks. They are very light and strong, but arguably do not have as much holding power as a v-shaped stake.

I love the look of the tarp and am happy with my purchase!

In the middle of a pandemic I expected a much longer lead time, but my order was delivered just five days after it was placed. I haven't had a chance to set up the tarp yet, but a precursory examination indicates the quality is top notch all around. Thanks Jared!

A perfect summer tarp.
I lived under this tarp for 10 days in pretty rough weather. and it was awesome the whole way. One night we got hail, another high winds and rain, and 2 intense storms. The tarp still looks like the day I got it.
It is quick to set up with tarp flys and line locks, very light and most important it keeps me dry. I'm pumped to take this on many more trips.
