I lost my piece of Tybek and bought this mat to replace it. It is super handy to have a clean area to sit or prepare food or set my pack down. It gets a place of privilege within reach on all hikes!
Well made and a handy size to pack. Enough room to keep your stuff out of the dirt and such.
Mud mat can be pinned to the floor. I used it to put a bunch of lives under/in it so it has a bump above the ground. Stays in place and water runs off. Get the little stuff sack - something to put your dirty mud mat in 😃
I use this in my vestibule, works perfectly
Does it's job great. This review is more about Jared and SLD. I have 7 or 8 pieces of gear I've ordered from him over the years. He even made me an custom sized and filled underquilt that is my favorite piece of gear. It's always exceptional quality. His prices are very reasonable and the gear is always top notch. I spend a lot of time in N. GA and it can be dangerous as rain just magically appears pretty frequently. Having crap gear can make for a really bad day. His stuff has always kept me warm, dry and safe. I'm seriously a life long customer and hope he keeps it up another 30-40 years because I plan on adventuring till my knees give out.
