Ordered the 2" seatbelt variety of these in 5' length, generally speaking, for optimal versatility in my usual stomping grounds of northern NM, but also specifically for use in a backyard setup where the same trees see repeated hang use. These do a great job of protecting the relatively fragile bark of the local Pinon trees, and feel very secure with no stretch. Obviously not taking my chains and biners out in the wild like in my attached pic lol, but these are light enough they could certainly go should I need to satisfy the 2" requirement where I'm going.
Seem very well made. Had a nice hand written note as well. I cant imagine how the ultralight straps feel because these are already about 1/2 the weight of my old straps already. Shipped fast and great prices
First time hanger, bought a second hand 11’ hammock without any suspension. After a little online research, I decided to go with Simply Light Designs, both for the affordability and thorough, straightforward product descriptions.
I received my order very quickly, packaged well, and I was pleasantly surprised to find my straps, toggles and whoopie slings contained in a small drawstring bag I hadn’t thought to order. Along with this freebie was a business card with a handwritten thank-you note.
